Tom Renwick is planning to retire at the end of August 2017 and is currently looking to sell on the Maths on Track numeracy supports for school and home users.
If he does then the Learning Centre and website store for school / home supports will continue as now.
If not, then website credit holders will be sent regular reminders to use up their credits before the end of August 2017
The website offers over 150 videos of key numeracy lessons, many of which are based on the visual techniques shared in over 500 schools with some 100,000 pupils and their teachers.
They are categorised into 'on track' stages, and are ideal for showing on a smart board for pupils to view, or, for individual viewing at home in the child's own time (parents and their children can access these techniques that have been shared in so many schools).
The website offers over 700 numeracy practice (and answer) sheets, and are categorised into 'on track' stages.
Designed to be downloaded as the need arises these sheets offer clarity and are ideal for using on a smart board or photocopying for whole class use, or, for individual use at home in the child's own time.
Due to their clarity the sheets get particularly good feedback from parents who's children are dyslexic and the content for P2 sheets for 'starting' level 1 can be seen here
Visit the free downloads to see the content for other stages, or, visit the store to see the 'on track' DVD's which contain both practice sheets and videos.
All 80 bundles of Wee Red Box numeracy flashcards are automatically marked and timed, each with pass marks of 20/20. Fluency can then be improved by doing a bundle faster.
Then, being mentally fluent = good at numeracy = better at maths, and why these well proven / old fashioned techniques can be so beneficial (and gaining 'Well Done' awards at Curriculum for Excellence fourth level is actually excellent enough at numeracy).
They only need 5 credits for 1 hour of access, and the Wee Red Box is ideal for smart board use in the classroom on a smart board, or at home, where children will enjoy and benefit greatly from gaining their 'well done' awards, in their own time.
