AND PRIOR TO ALL THESE VISITS AND SUPPORTS;

• visiting every primary and high school in East Ayr Council for a day each, to deliver the 100+ board and train teachers on effective uses

• visiting every primary school in East Dunbartonshire Council for a day each, to deliver the 100+ board and train teachers on effective uses

• visiting every school in East Ayr Council for a day each, to deliver the Wee Red Boxes for Curriculum for Excellence levels 1, 2 and 3 and train teachers on effective uses

• most of the Orkney schools, to directly share interactive mental agility techniques

• developed the 5-14 maths programme of study for City of Edinburgh

• supported BBC Scotland for maths content for 5-14 maths

• some 500 schools now visited for a day (including the East Ayr, East Dunbarton and Orkney visits) working with children in their classroom - that's 500 x 7 classes x 30 pupils = approximately 100,000 pupils

It is this experience and insight which adds to the quality and relevance of Tom Renwick’s talks and supports he gives for teachers and parents.

About 1/3 of the videos available for downloading from the website show Tom using the 100+ board in conjunction with Wee Red Box flash cards, visual and interactive techniques which get great feedback – for the first time teachers and their pupils (and parents with their children) can see first hand these techniques without him having to be there!
